Dr. Myatt has extensive experience supporting expert testimony in antitrust litigation in the entertainment, telecommunications, and technology industries. His work includes:

- Assessing allegations of raising rivals’ costs and potential to foreclose
- Estimating damages and evaluating proposed damages models
Merger reviews and litigation
Dr. Myatt has analyzed market definition, market power, competitive effects, and cognizable efficiencies in merger investigations. He has also consulted on a variety of civil investigative demands. Representative matters include:
- Providing support in the Federal Trade Commission’s (FTC’s) challenge of the proposed IQVIA/Propel Media merger, which included both horizontal and vertical elements
- Consulting on the review of the Amazon/MGM merger, which Global Competition Review recognized as its 2023 Matter of the Year
- Supporting testimony using advanced econometric techniques in the T-Mobile/Sprint merger
Damages
Dr. Myatt has led support in automotive matters involving vehicle allocation, including complaints about vertical restraints. He supported counsel and an expert in EFN West Palm Moto Sales LLC v. Hyundai Motor America Corp. et al., in which a federal jury ruled in Hyundai’s favor on all allocation claims and awarded no damages.
Dr. Myatt has also evaluated damages in a regulatory proceeding for a public-private partnership.
