Igor Salitskiy applies sophisticated financial modeling methodologies and statistical analyses to matters involving enterprise valuation, securities litigation, and alleged anticompetitive conduct. In matters involving mergers and acquisitions (M&A), Dr. Salitskiy has analyzed alleged breach of fiduciary duty issues and breach of contract disputes. He has substantial experience with matters in the Delaware Court of Chancery, other U.S. and international courts, and arbitration associations.

Valuation and M&A
Dr. Salitskiy conducts valuation analyses in a range of litigation settings. He has particular expertise working in established sectors, such as financial institutions and telecommunications, as well as with companies in the early stages of growth.
Dr. Salitskiy has valued companies, securities, licensing agreements, compensation packages in private equity firms, portfolios of receivables, and financial derivative instruments. His representative experience includes performing valuations for:
- Enterprises, using corporate financial statements and financial projections in M&A contexts
- Preferred stock of a venture-backed start-up, using an option pricing model
- Carried interest in a private equity fund, using Monte Carlo simulation
- A large portfolio of credit default swaps, using a quantitative model
- Consent rights held by a large investor, by applying concepts from game theory
Securities litigation
Dr. Salitskiy has experience in all stages of securities litigation. He has analyzed market efficiency, class certification issues, loss causation, and damages in Rule 10b-5, Section 11, and Section 12 lawsuits.
Anticompetitive conduct
Dr. Salitskiy has analyzed alleged anticompetitive conduct of large financial institutions in multiple over-the-counter (OTC) financial markets. He has reviewed alleged manipulation in foreign exchange (FX), stock loan, and government-sponsored enterprise (GSE) bonds. He also has led large teams that assisted financial institutions in analyzing and producing trading data in the context of joint defense arrangements.
