Ashley Vissing provides economic and financial analysis and expert support in all phases of commercial litigation. Her industry experience includes agriculture, e-commerce retail, energy, technology, telecommunications, and transportation.

Labor, employment, and discrimination

Dr. Vissing has experience with labor matters involving no-poach issues, particularly in cases related to franchising agreements and government contracting arrangements. She has worked on labor matters involving allegations of discrimination, as well as a high-profile trial addressing Harvard College’s use of race in its undergraduate admissions process.

Pro bono

Dr. Vissing is committed to pro bono initiatives, including leading a Cornerstone Research project to develop a model and analysis of automated record-clearing policies that remove barriers to expungement.

Dr. Vissing began her career at Cornerstone Research, later rejoining the firm after working as an economist at Amazon. Previously, she served as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Chicago’s Energy Policy Institute (EPIC) and as a research associate at the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab, Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
