Shaama Pandya Recognized among the Top 50 Women Leaders of DC for 2023

Women We Admire names Shaama Pandya, a vice president at Cornerstone Research, to its annual list of Women Leaders in the Washington, DC, area.

WashingtonWomen We Admire has named Shaama Pandya to its list of Top 50 Women Leaders in DC for 2023. Published annually, the list honors exceptional women who embody “the courage, passion, and commitment that propel their organizations forward year after year.” Ms. Pandya oversees Cornerstone Research’s business development initiatives related to Rule 10b-5 and Section 11/12 matters, and co-leads C-Pride, the firm’s vibrant LGBTQ+ affinity group.

Ms. Pandya was recognized for her expertise and leadership in complex litigation and regulatory investigations related to securities, consumer finance, and valuation. She has more than a decade of experience managing large teams in expert discovery, motion practice, and mediation and settlement negotiations, as well as trials and arbitrations. Ms. Pandya’s work spans multiple industries and addresses a broad range of economic issues, including market efficiency, loss causation, and damages.

Ms. Pandya has worked on matters in a variety of venues, including U.S. federal and state courts, the Delaware Court of Chancery, and international jurisdictions, notably in Latin America and Europe. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and earned dual undergraduate degrees in economics and cultural anthropology from Duke University.
