Sara Gilley Recognized among the Top 50 Women Leaders of Illinois for 2022

Women We Admire names Sara Gilley, a vice president at Cornerstone Research, to its annual list of Women Leaders in Illinois.

ChicagoWomen We Admire has named Sara Gilley to its list of Top 50 Women Leaders in Illinois. Published annually, the Women We Admire list recognizes “trailblazers in their fields [who] are sparking progress and change year after year.”

Ms. Gilley was honored for her extensive experience with securities and white-collar litigation. As the co-head of Cornerstone Research’s securities litigation group, she also plays a leading role in the firm’s research related to enforcement actions by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Ms. Gilley consults on economic and financial issues related to federal and state class actions, corporate investigations, and government enforcement activity. She also has experience in matters brought under international securities laws. Her industry expertise includes automobiles, financial institutions, high tech, and life sciences. In addition, Ms. Gilley serves on Cornerstone Research’s pro bono committee and is a board member of Open Books, a Chicago-based literacy nonprofit.
