Benjamin H. Fuller performs economic analysis and applies statistical and econometric techniques in regulatory matters and commercial litigation cases involving complex data. Mr. Fuller has broad experience in the consumer finance, energy, healthcare, hedge fund, and life sciences industries. He has particular expertise in False Claims Act issues and consumer fraud and product liability matters alleging public nuisance. Mr. Fuller consults to clients across all phases of the litigation process and supports experts through discovery and trial.
Marlene Haas is a financial economist with expertise in financial markets and institutions. Dr. Haas specializes in topics related to trading in financial markets, with a focus on matters involving alleged market manipulation and disruptive trading issues, digital asset markets, commercial uses for FinTech, and cash and derivative markets. In both the U.S. and Europe, she consults to clients on complex financial economics issues arising in all stages of litigation. Dr. Haas also works on internal and regulatory investigations.
Lucy Lee specializes in complex financial economics and data issues arising in business litigation and regulatory investigations. Ms. Lee works on matters involving financial derivatives and risk management, market manipulation and improper trading, antitrust claims in financial markets, valuation and mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and securities class action litigation. Her expertise spans various financial products, including spot, forwards, futures, swaps, vanilla and exotic options, and structured products across interest rates, credit, foreign exchange (FX), precious metals, and equities markets.
Ana McDowall provides economic analysis and expert support in antitrust matters and regulatory proceedings. Dr. McDowall’s antitrust experience includes merger reviews and cases involving allegations of exclusionary conduct and price fixing. She submitted comments to the Draft Merger Guidelines released by the Federal Trade Commission and Department of Justice in July 2023, and has published articles on merger review in the Antitrust Source and Law360. Dr. McDowall has expertise with issues in the U.S. and European contexts.
Alex Yavorsky has more than a decade of experience consulting on complex matters in consumer fraud and product liability, consumer finance, and intellectual property litigation. In these contexts, Ms. Yavorsky has consulted on numerous cases related to false advertising claims and data privacy and has addressed consumer behavior and decision-making issues. She has substantial experience designing surveys to assess materiality, reliance, exposure, and heterogeneity. Ms. Yavorsky’s industry expertise includes consumer goods and services, food and beverage, financial services, and high tech.
