2020 IAM Guide to Leading Patent Professionals

Intellectual Asset Management (IAM) names Henry Grabowski of Duke University and Matthew Lynde of Cornerstone Research in its annual list of leading expert witnesses on patent issues in the United States.

San Francisco—Henry Grabowski of Duke University and Matthew R. Lynde of Cornerstone Research have been selected for the 2020 edition of the IAM Patent 1000, an annual listing of top patent professionals.

The publication identifies the leading testifying experts in the United States based on interviews with patent attorneys, and seeks to ‘shine a spotlight on the firms and individuals that are deemed outstanding in this pivotal area of practice.’

  • Henry Grabowski is an authority on the business and economics of intellectual property in the pharmaceutical field. Professor Grabowski has testified before congressional committees on policy issues, and served as an advisor for the Institute of Medicine, the U.S. Federal Trade Commission, the National Academy of Sciences, the Office of Technology Assessment, and the General Accounting Office. He has particular expertise in evaluating commercial success and irreparable harm issues for small molecule and biologic drugs in Hatch-Waxman (Paragraph IV) patent litigation.
  • Matthew Lynde heads Cornerstone Research’s intellectual property practice and provides expert testimony and consulting in applied economics. He has testified in federal and state courts, tribunals, and arbitration panels; and his work as a consultant and educator spans a range of IP portfolio and valuation issues. Dr. Lynde has more than thirty years of experience as an applied economist in government, academic, and commercial environments. The National Law Journal has named him a trailblazer in the field of intellectual property.
