Gregor Langus of Cornerstone Research will speak on a panel titled ‘Innovation: What Impact on Merger Control?’ at this one-day conference in London.
Panellists will explore the critical role of merger control in balancing innovation and competition within the digital sector. They will analyse landmark cases such as Microsoft/Activision Blizzard, Amazon/iRobot and Google/Photomat and highlight the challenges related to alleged market dominance, data use and innovation.
Speakers will also cover the impact of the Digital Markets Act (DMA) and the Digital Markets Competition and Consumers Bill (DMCC Act) and discuss whether a complete reset of merger control is needed to effectively address the dynamics of the digital economy.
This conference is hosted by Concurrences and King’s College London. Cornerstone Research is a sponsor of this event. For more information, visit the event website.
