Roma Poberejsky is scheduled to speak on the impact and implications of “horizontal directors” —individuals who serve on the boards of multiple companies within the same industry.
Dr. Poberejsky will present on his research focused on “Interlocking directorates, competition, and innovation.” His research highlights the complex nature of horizontal directorships, including how holding concurrent board seats at rival firms raises antitrust concerns.
