- Liam Colley will join attorneys to speak on a panel titled, “Understanding the Growth of EU Competition Class Action Claims.” Speakers will discuss the scope for breaches within competition law across various EU jurisdictions and assess the UK Competition Appeal Tribunal (CAT) framework (June 12).
- Vikram Kumar will present on a panel titled, “Recent Developments in Data Privacy Class Actions.” Panellists examine how the EU Regulation on Antitrust Damages Actions (RAD) builds on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for consumers (June 12).
- Ronnie Barnes will join class action experts on a panel titled, “Exploring the Rise in European Shareholder and Securities Class Actions.” Speakers will analyze how economics can inform legal decisions on class composition and damages and also assess the role of private retail investment versus venture capital in shareholder actions (June 13).
- Anca Cojoc will speak on a panel titled, “Addressing Claims Valuation, Evidence and the Role of Experts in the European Union.” Panellists will address the lack of uniformity that prevails among EU member states with respect to economic models used for damages assessment. They will also compare different legal frameworks and whether the frameworks prescribe reduced damages (June 13).
