The Department of Justice (DOJ) and Federal Trade Commission (FTC) recently published new proposed merger guidelines which aim to support more active antitrust enforcement. The revisions affect how the agencies approach enforcement and will alter the current merger landscape.
Dr. Majure will join a panel titled, “At Last, the Ultimate Merger Guidelines?” to discuss the proposed changes. The panelists will consider whether the new proposed guidelines sufficiently account for modern market developments, as well as the impact that the revisions may have on antitrust enforcement activity.
