Pro Bono: Latinos in the United States: Overcoming Legal Obstacles, Engaging in Civic Life

Sponsored by one of the firm’s affinity groups, Cornerstone Research contributed to the economic analyses in the ABA’s report.

Cornerstone Research collaborated with several law firms and governmental entities to produce the ABA Commission on Hispanic Legal Rights & Responsibilities decennial report, “Latinos in the United States: Overcoming Legal Obstacles, Engaging in Civic Life.” Sponsored by the firm’s C-Nosotros affinity group, the Cornerstone Research team contributed to the report’s economic analyses.

The ABA Commission officially released the updated report in August 2024. The report recognizes the significant contributions by Latinos to the nation’s legal system, economy, and culture, and identifies the significant legal obstacles and civic-engagement barriers that they face. Looking forward, the Commission plans to bring more awareness to the challenges highlighted in this report.
