Six Cornerstone Research consulting professionals and an affiliated expert recognized as future leaders in the international competition field.

Lexology Index, formerly Who’s Who Legal (WWL), named Ashley Langer of Eller College of Management, University of Arizona, together with six Cornerstone Research consultants, as future leaders among experts and economists in the global competition field. The Future Leaders list features individuals aged 45 or under who are considered to be the “pre-eminent names of the next generation.”

Co-published with Global Competition Review, Lexology Index draws on the recommendations of clients and private practitioners to identify “the best consultants, expert witnesses and advisers in the world.”

Expert
  • Ashley Langer is an econometrics, energy, and industrial organization expert at the Eller College of Management, University of Arizona. Professor Langer applies sophisticated empirical methods to study regulation, competition, and firm and consumer behavior. She analyzes a range of economic issues, including those involving energy markets, transportation, and the environment.
Professionals
  • Avigail Kifer applies her expertise in industrial organization economics and quantitative marketing to antitrust and competition, merger review, and healthcare matters. She has assessed class certification, liability, and damages claims arising in a variety of competition matters.
  • Todd J. Kumler consults on economic and statistical matters related to antitrust and competition and claims of consumer fraud and product liability. Dr. Kumler applies econometric tools and other empirical analyses to assess class certification, liability, and damages issues.
  • Vivek Mani has over a decade of experience leading teams and consulting to clients on regulatory and litigation issues involving competition. His expertise includes collective actions, cartels, and mergers in Europe and the United States.

  • Rainer Schwabe has analyzed alleged anticompetitive conduct in a number of industries, including finance, food and agriculture, healthcare, telecommunications, and transportation. Dr. Schwabe has particular expertise with antitrust issues in financial markets.
