Chris Nelson is the founder of Cornerstone Research’s East Coast practice. For more than thirty years, she has managed economic, financial, and marketing analyses for securities, antitrust, and intellectual property cases, as well as other general business litigation. Her cases have covered a number of industries, including energy, consumer products, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, and high-technology manufacturing.
Mrs. Nelson has taken many large-scale cases through deposition and trial, including Biogen Securities Litigation, NuCorp Securities Litigation, Home Shopping Network v. GTE, Continental Illinois Bank Securities Litigation, and the fairness hearing for the class settlement in the Prudential-Bache Energy Income Partnership Securities Litigation.
She has also testified in federal court regarding alleged price fixing between Sotheby’s and Christie’s. She is a coauthor of two Cornerstone Research publications, and coauthor of “Disclosures of SEC Investigations Resulting in Wells Notices.”
